Aatrox rework/update idea, Lead Initiation and Teamfight/Lategame Tank

So I was poking around at some ideas, and decided to come up with this for the fun of it. And it sure was fun, imagining if this actually was implemented and such, just thinking how awesome it would be. (of course we all know it never will, but it doesn't hurt to dream)

The idea around this is to make Aatrox more of a late-game focused tank, and toning down a bit on his early game. Making him slower of an engager, but packs a devastating punch if you let him channel his full Q and knockup your entire team, dealing massive damage.


Passive - Blood Well Aatrox takes the blood from his health costs and 2% (10% with massacre active, including cleave/pierce damage) of damage dealt from basic attacks and stores it; capping at 250-1230 (based on level). Aatrox gains 0.3%-0.55% (based on level) bonus attack speed for every 1% in his Blood Well, up to a maximum of 30-55% (based on level) bonus attack speed. Out of combat, Aatrox's Blood Well drains at a rate of 4% per second.

Q - Dark Flight 10% current HP upon hitting the ground, 20/18/16/14/12 second cooldown, 550-825 cast range, 220-330/80-120 damage/knockup range

Aatrox channels and increases the cast range, knockup area/duration and area damage by up to 50% over 3 seconds for up to 6 seconds. Upon reactivation, Aatrox leaps up and dives to target area, knocking up enemies in the epicenter for 1 - 1.5 seconds (depending on time channeled), dealing 90/125/160/195/230 (+30% consumed HP) (+20% AD) - 135/187.5/240/292.5/345 (+45% consumed HP) (+30% AD) physical damage to enemies in range. Aatrox may issue a move command to cancel the channel, and put the ability on half cooldown. (This ability has no cost if it is cancelled or interrupted, be it mid-channel or mid-flight)

W - Blood Thirst/Blood Price 0.5 second cooldown

PASSIVE: Passively, and every third hit, Aatrox empowers his auto attacks with bonus effects. TOGGLE OFF: Blood Siphon: Aatrox gains 2/4/6/8/10% lifesteal. While Aatrox is below 50% maximum health, the heal is increased by 50% to 3/6/9/12/15%. 3RD HIT OFF: Blood Thirst: Aatrox heals himself for 10/25/40/55/70 (+2.5% max HP) (+15% AD), doubled to 20/50/80/110/140 (+5% max HP) (+30% AD) below 50% maximum health.

TOGGLE ON: Crippling Disdain: Aatrox's auto attacks slow by 3% for 1 second, with each attack refreshing the duration, stacking up to 4 times. 3RD HIT ON: Blood Price: Aatrox consumes 5% of his maximum health to deal 40/70/100/130/160 (+60% bonus AD) (+2/3/4/5/6% of target's maximum health) bonus physical damage, and doubling the passive slow for 1 second.

E - Blade of Torment 8% current HP, 16/14/12/10/8 second cooldown, 325 range

Aatrox lenthens and empowers his sword for 4 seconds, inceased by .5 seconds every auto attack, capping at an 8 second duration. During this time, Aatrox gains attack range (does not stack with ult range) and his auto attacks deal 3% of the target's maximum health as bonus magic damage and ground the target for .5 seconds, with the first two auto attacks dealing 40/65/90/115/140 (50% AP) (+30% bonus AD) bonus magic damage.

R - Massacre 100% current blood well, 140/120/100 second cooldown, 600 damage radius/325 attack range/1000 AD radius/line 100 width and 900 range, 700 cone range

Aatrox draws in the blood of his foes, dealing 200/250/300 (+20% Blood Well consumed) (+80% AP) magic damage to all enemies around him, filling his Blood Well by 20% and healing for 5% of his maximum health per champion hit (-1% per champion hit, 5/9/12/14/15% at 1-5 champions hit), gains attack range and 20-50/30-60/40-70% bonus attack speed (based on % of maximum Blood Well consumed) for 10 seconds. During this time, Aatrox's non-W enhanced basic attack's cleave, dealing 40/50/60% AD physical damage to enemies in a 90° cone infront of him. His W enhanced basic attacks, however, pierce the target, dealing 40/50/60% of damage dealt by that basic attack to enemies in a line infront of him. Every champion he hits with a basic attack/cleave or pierce increases his and nearby allied bonus AD by 2/3/4, stacking up to a cap of 40/60/80 bonus AD (Life Steal is applied to damage dealt by cleave and pierce) While massacre is active, if Aatrox takes fatal damage and has 100% Blood Well, he is cleansed of all debuffs, enters stasis and drains his Blood Well, healing himself over the next 3 seconds, restoring 250 - 1250 (based on level) health. This can only happen once until the effects of Massacre end. Upon revival, the duration of Massacre is refreshed. (Aatrox's Blood Well bar is red if Massacre is active and has maximum Blood Well, and white otherwise)
