Knowing Riot Sees What we Post, I'd Like to Say One Thing About Pro Play vs. Actual Play
Just because it may look flashy and amazing when the pros do it, doesn't mean it's fun to play against.
Take Lee Sin for example (Yes, everyone's favourite champ). Seeing a Lee Sin player is pretty awesome. He's jumping back and forth and seeing him move around and get kills is a lot of fun to watch. As for playing against him, well, not so fun. For me, Lee feels pretty obnoxious to fight. While he does all those flashy combos, the one getting styled on isn't always having a lot of fun getting kicked under a tower, whether they respect the Lee player or not. It stems past his combos with how well he works in jungle and counter-jungling early game. He's fairly hard to duel, and his clear time helps him out a lot.
We've been seeing this in other champions too like Vayne and Yasuo (Are there any flashy champs the board doesn't hate?). We get Yasuo's flashy yet annoying as all hell playstyle, and Vayne's uber-kite burst damage. While these champs can look cool to watch, they aren't so cool to fight.
TL;DR (Or I didn't explain right): Flashy doesn't always equal fun; and even if cool looking champs bring players in, they may just be the same thing to make players leave. Focus more on game health than $LCSBIGPLAYS$. League won't ever be 100% balanced, and that's ok, as long as it's fun for players to keep playing.
