So I waited a couple days to get a better feel for what was changed before I decided how I feel, and overall I think it they had some good ideas but executed it very poorly

Turrets I agree with making turrets weaker, but turning them into paper in the presence of minions was not the answer. Yes there needs to be some punishment for roaming, but to simply having to leave lane for whatever reason can cost you your turret or most of its hp from full just 10 minutes in.

Also now teleport is required, not just a nice thing to have, gotta get back ASAP to defend that turret from the 2 minion wave pile up (not much of a pile up)

The change I would have done is leave the turrets alone, except: in the absence of an allied champion, it does 25% less damage to minions - a turrets power should be tied to your team, not to enemy minions. The current setup makes it feel like the turret is the elephant that is terrified of a mouse

Masteries Simply put: I don't like it. I feel restricted, not to mention fragile has anyone tried to jungle a non-sustaining jungler like Rammus or Amumu? With as tanky as the masteries let you go, you can't even clear 3 camps, with a leash. Prior to the changes, I could clear the entire jungle in 1 go with Rammus so easier jungle sure, but lacking the tools to do it at all - This needs to be rectified.

as for feeling restricted, the single point levels are perfectly fine - its the 5 point levels that are awful feeling, what if I want to have both stats? splitting is laughably ineffective - I should be allowed to over saturate a tree if I want to, because currently the masteries are literally stuck at multiples of 6 points per tree and it is horribly punishing to even consider putting a non-multiple of 6 - being allowed to over saturate could cause that, but at least the player got what they wanted and made that decision - Players aren't that stupid, we can make these choices for ourselves

the restriction removes variety, which is the charm of league over dota. I can't customize as much as I used to, I now have only about 10 mastery pages, where I used to have 20 unique ones

Balance changes Well, that remains to be seen, too soon as not everything has settled - those other things though are clear in how the game mechanically works
