MMR-system

Is it me or does riots MMR system sucks (I don't hate League of Legends), but I don't understand my MMR right now. I'm G3 right now and has transferred my account to EUW. Since then I climbed to G1, then dropped to G3. Right now I get queued with high silvers and low gold players or sometimes I get queued with high gold or low plat, it feels like playing in bronze, but this a not a report or saying anything like: "I deserve a better team" or "My team sucks, I should get placed higher". I just get irritated that the ranking system doesn't let me climb. When I play with high gold/low plat, I feel a lot more confident, because I can trust my team and know they will not feed the hell out. I can't play ASol (who is also the best champ in league xD), who is very team oriented and not a hard snowballing champ, I can't climb... I know:" You should just improve and play better than the enemy team", but I can't play aggressively
