So if someone is afk for the first 3 minutes of a game you cant remake. What the fuck is the point of that then ? I just lost LP because of an afk. Surprise riot cant get something right

In my experience, as long as they connect, you can't remake. I've had multiple matches where someone connect, then dc 30 seconds later or afk the rest of the match, and remake isn't available.
I had an adc that dc'd at 1 minute, no one died and we tried to remake at 5 mins. Didn't work.
That must be a 1 off - If you do not move out of the fountain it will disconnect you.
regardless - you report him for AFK and he will get a nasty ban later
