Jungle mini-rework ideas
Buff inhib and nexus turrets and nerf jungle. Jungle got buffed a lot by those changes - objectives spawn faster, laners get more gold for attacking turrets, so ganks are more rewarding.
The change they made to scuttle crab a while ago was a good idea imo. Make junglers more interested in actually jungling, counter-jungling and fighting over objectives rather than camp lanes 24/7 and make the game super not fun to play to the people getting camped.
"if you die from ganks you're bad and you need to delete bla bla bla" sure, but why do people play games in the first place? To have fun. And dying over and over because enemy jungle thinks you're a monster camp is far from fun.
To be honest, i think jungle needs a rework from ground-up. It's the only role in which you spend most of the time fighting AI instead of players, yet it's most impactful in the game, regardless of how bad it is at any given moment (smite is always game-changing).
I'd suggest adding special attacks to monsters that players need to dodge from time to time (think Odyssey), to make jungling less brain-dead and add objectives that junglers want to contest instead of ganking. Preferably done in the way laners can't directly help the jungler to prevent skirmishes happening instead of laning. Maybe something only junglers can collect, similar to Bard's passive. I really like how it's done in Nexus - junglers actually have more of a reason to fight enemy junglers rather than make some lane a 3v2 for the entire laning phase. Maybe also encouraging junglers to help losing lanes instead of only ganking winning lanes to help them snowball even more would do the trick. I dont have any ideas here, though. Ganking someone who is already doing badly is like kicking them while they are down and ganking someone who is ahead sometimes feels like a raid boss - it's fun and more healthy to the game all around.
