Here is what REALLY is going to happen with 10 bans--we will get less than 6 actual bans.

Because we all hate the same champions, there are going to be so many duplicate bans, we will end up getting LESS than even 6 total bans!

The community is going to complain, and Riot will respond with their usual limp dick lame excuse of "uh we didn't anticipate players banning all the same champions...."

And the reason they will do it is because they don't REALLY acknowledge or believe Yasuo Graves LeeSin are cancer. They pay us lip service in their thoughts on gameplay posts, but they don't really think its an issue.

So because they are detached from reality, as usual, they don't calculate reality. The reality is that both teams are going to ban 2 or 3 of the same champs most matches, and we will get less than 6 champs. We are going to get LESS than now.

Just wait for Riot's pathetic typical apology about this after it happens. This is how I know these people aren't that smart. I am here on record telling you what is going to happen, it will happen, Riot will apologize and try to fix it, and you all wonder why I give them no credit. Its shit like this, that's why.

If Yasuo is your only concern then you are either blinded by hate or have no care in life.

As for the number of bans then the bare minimum of unique bans is 5 meaning both teams ban exactly same champions. I reckon the average will actually end up being 7 unique bans. Still better than 6, but definitely not 10.

As long as Yasuo gets a 100% banrate in my games I don't care tbh.

RIght now your team has 3 bans + whatever RNG the opposing team bans

After the change your team will have 5 bans + whatever RNG the opposing team bans

Net profit

No, we are not going to end up with less than 6 bans on average. The only way to end up with less than 6, is if both teams ban the exact same five champions. That will happen much less frequently than there being less than 4 overlapped ones, thus more bans with the new system on average. What's even better, I get to ban a champion I don't want to face, and if the enemy team happens to ban him too, I don't care too much, he's still out.

You must be high if you think people ban the same shit in low ELO.

It's gonna be closer to 8 unique bans imo

I only ban Yasuo when I want to play things like Vel'koz, I never ban Fizz unless I know my team isn't capable of dealing with him (lets face it most players aren't), Lee Sin, Katarina and Heimer are likely going to be my go to bans

You forgot to mention how after the apology Riot will say something like " Because of this we have learned that going back to 3 bans per team and let the other team see your bans is the right way forward". Then the cycle continue forever.

Games can range from 0-10 bans per game. Players are able to opt out of banning by choosing the "No Ban" option.

See, I'm under the impression that even with the yasuo/lee sin potential "110% bans" we'll just see something step in their place, a bit like if they found a cure for cancer only to have AIDS suddenly become prominent. People are then going to hate the new wave of characters (syndra potentially being one of them as I'd argue she's far worse to play against in lane than the likes of yas), complain again, and just continue the repeated self-circle-jerk of demanding that everything should get nerfed should they be unable to lane against it properly.

This new system doesn't work with how the game promotes exclusive use of top tier champions like it does, and it also doesn't give enough freedom for players to ban controversial/aggravating picks on principle.

Riot still seems to be going for the "use bans for your comp and whatever you like" method and while that's admirable, it has never truly been used in that manner in ordinary play, and likely never will be. Riot needs to take a step back and look at the double-edged sword they're forging simply because they can't stop trying to dictate how their already highly imbalanced game is played.

I'm pretty sure that a champ getting double-banned in over fifty percent of games will help inform Riot who they should be reworking next.
