Small Xerath visual update
Xerath looks okay overall as his visuals go
However I'm noticing that a lot of the changes that Riot is making is to the enemy range indicator. With champions like Veigar's W and Anivia's Ultimate, instead of just being a colored ring, they gave it more of a graphic effect to indicate the boundary.
I was noticing that Xerath's ultimate does little more than project a large ring that expands to the extreme range of his ultimate.
I still think this should be done, but I think it could be made clearer by using a visual overlay on the terrain, similar to how Illaoi's E works when an enemy becomes a vessel. Make this visual overlay show on the interior of Xerath's ultimate range so any enemy standing in range can easily tell.
The actual visuals of this overlay might look different for different skins. I think it would probably look cool if there were small craters everywhere. It would be important that the overlay is transparent and subtle enough that it doesn't make the enemy player think that the overlay animation is actually the target indicator for where Xerath is aiming his mortars.
I think this would be an interesting update.
I'm also not really sure that Gameplay was 100% the right category to chose from here. Categories get a little confusing sometimes.
