My idea for fixing Ragheblade
Currently the biggest issue with Rageblade is that it is too efficient an item. Anyone that's at all auto-attack centric and has an AP scaling in their kit can pick it up and get a big boost to their damage from it. But we can't just nerf its stats because then no one will buy it like the old Rageblade. My solution is that e need to encourage it to be an item bought more by people that like AP and AD while making it so those that don't have a lot of hybrid scalings don't get as much out of it.
New build path is.

+ 550 gold =
Now provides 16% attack speed, 15 AD, and 45 AP
_Unique: Ranged basic attacks (on-attack) grant 1 stack, melee attacks grant 2 stacks. Grants Guinsoo's Rage at 8 stacks and as long as you keep them. Stacks grant +6% attack speed, +1 attack damage and +2 ability power for 5 seconds, stacking up to 8 times, granting a total of +64% attack speed, +8 attack damage and +16 ability _
Sounds terrible right? But here's where my big change comes in. Now for every 100 total bonus AD and AP the amount of AD and AP you gain for each stack increases by 1 AD and 1 AP (What I mean by this is that if you have 40 bonus AD and 60 AP then it then it will increase the amount of AD and AP you get by 1 and 2 respectively)
_Unique – Guinsoo's Rage: Basic attacks deal +5 (+ 25% bonus AD) (+ 14% AP) bonus on-hit magic damage to the target and nearby units in an area of effect. _
Now I know I've probably not gotten the numbers in a place where they are best, but you can see what my intention is with this. Make Guinsoo's cheap to buy but also a poor buy to get early in the game, in exchange make it so it has scalings that make it a great late game item for those that have bought AP and AD. In essence, make it an on hit version of
. I gave it base attack speed and left the attack speed at max stacks the same so that it still has a little bit of the value it has now and so you don't have to buy three stats to make the item efficient.
What are your thoughts? Like I said, I know that the numbers are very subject to change but I wanted to at least convey what my idea is.
