does fizz really need a slow on his e?

just a thought but how necessary is it to be on there? he has plenty of damage to where if he is on you youre probbaly dead anyways. he has his ult slow too anyways, might aswell give you a chance to get away before he gets ult. he is one of those champions to where he gets 6 (which by that time should have a revolver) you lose lane unless you have stomped him before
