Win/Loss Streaks are predictable if you are at your elo.
I've done a little experiment. I've tried to predict the beginning and end of winning and losing streaks since the preseason started. I personally believe I am a plat 1/2 level player, but had improved enough to try for diamond.
I got to plat 1 (again) after a 70% win rate in the previous week. I said to myself "I think that it is time for me to be put on the losing list for a few games."
Queued up yesterday night after work. 3 minute queue time for a plat game? Hmm, looks to me like they're searching the database for "most frequently reported"... and sure enough I get ragers and veggies on my team.
Even the game I won during this losing streak had my top laner AFK for 15 minutes.
I've noticed that matchmaking will literally try their best to put you in the worst of situations with not just bads, but people who are legitimately and consistently trolling, raging or toxic. It's not even doing bad, it's the whole "you don't deserve to win" "lel 1st time Yasuo top you stole my AD" shit.
