if pick below you threatens to troll because he wants your lane

DO ask nicely if he can please not do that

DO NOT say "fk u noob" then lock your lane, and then wonder why he's trolling you

do you really want some guy trolling your game because you want a lane and he wants the same lane? it's not a matter of what's right and wrong. it's a matter of what IS AND ISN'T. ask yourself this "is he gonna troll my game if i take this role even though i got it, and am a pick above him?" if the answer is yes, ask yourself "am i gonna bitch and whine on forums about this after the fact, when no one can do anything about it?" if the answer is yes, then you're a moron who only contributes to the problem.

im proficient in all roles, and while i'd prefer to have the lane i got assigned by dynamic queue, i'd MUCH less prefer having some douchelord troll it because i said "NO I'M MID GO AHEAD AND TROLL I REPORT U" and cost me the game.

yeah, that shouldn't happen. yeah, they should get banned. but it DOES happen. the best way to avoid it is to not add anymore fuel to the fire.

it's happened to me, and if it happens again, i do the same thing. i cede my role, screencap chat, and then report him afterwards on the riot support forums, with screenshotted proof. that way he actually gets banned. I don't give him every opportunity to troll me, then cry about trolls on the forums.

I made a similar post on some guy's thread bitching about premades trying to bully him out of his lane. be realistic, it's going to happen, and you can either let them ruin a game for you, or you can SUCK IT UP AND TRY TO MAKE THE BEST OF A CRAPPY SITUATION.

if you do the first choice, you're just as much of a child as the guys trolling you

if you do the second choice, you show that you're a mature adult who can handle when life throws a curveball at you.
