interrupts vs silences

we all know that at one point silences were more common but after seeing that silences were to powerful particularly on assassins many silences were removed not many are left in the game. however kassadin was given an interrupt in replacement but i have not seen this mechanic of interrupt anywhere else in the game. i would love to see champions who formerly had silences given interrupts instead as a minor buff. i think that this would also be a good buff to assassins without making them to OP.
