Ashe, and always being referred to as a terrible

If I were to average my K/D/A over all my games played as Ashe I would easily claim 10/5/10. So games obviously are higher or lower.

Why, with such frequency, do people always tell me that I'm terrible. Ashe has little mobility and weak base damage. I opt to not dive a fight with low health or lack of items for fear of snowballing my enemy ADC.

Am I wrong to point out to my team -- namely the support, occasional jungler -- that taking cs or kills is not the route to go as it would make it much harder to become viable after, say, 10 minutes when most team fights begin to happen?
