Yet maybe 1/10 matches i actually see a perhaps 7/10 matches seeing played if not banned is an understatement

Popularity is disguised by coolness factor What's perceived as "fun" usually is translated into toxicity X champion is really popular because

A) Over-tuned B) Broken C) Unfair advantages in situations D) Tilt factors E) Fucking wins games

Would i ever waste 6300 IP on ivern if he did none of those things a few patches ago? Hell no

But if he can get me diamond sure why not he wins games idc how he looks

Once players see a champion capable of any of those feats they simply flock together and play that champion. Sadly there is no actual attachment to champions in ranked aside one trick ponies, we just abuse who is currently in power and the wheel of power is constantly spinning.

Its just like all those players crying that they could not 1-2 shot they;re prey any longer
