Preseason stat buffs to champs - newsflash

Many people are upset about changes to champs base stats - needs more armor, needs less ad, needs more mana rengen; whatever. It is PRESEASON - this is a starting point - feedback will cause these to change if they are not enough or way too much.

Also, if you haven't figured out from the end of this season and from the new rune/mastery update, Riot largely is pushing champs towards one of 2 roles. Glass cannon damage (kill enemies faster than before, but squishier) or tanks (soaking up damage and offering cc, but not a damage threat to anyone).

Stuff will get adjusted to try to even things out; it will take weeks of data gathering, finding new "broken" builds and champs, and adjusting after making adjustments - because changing what they are starting with will create new problems which must be fixed too. It will take time to gain a semblance of order. And some champs will probably have no good runes compared to how good they are with other champs/roles. Others will have to choose between taking stuff for early game (where they snowball and look broken, or don't snowball and become literally worthless). People will find out some stuff actually isn't half as broken as you think it is. Other stuff really will be broken and Riot will wonder why they ever thought it was going to be okay to begin with. People will fill the boards with rant posts... say league is dying... threaten to leave... and continue playing; and league will continue on.

Stop sweating the little stuff when you haven't even played it yet to find out how good/bad it is.
