Can We Talk About The Yasuo Circlejerk?

First Disclose, I was/am a Yasuo main, but have had to stop playing due to his current state/hate.

I honestly think that there has never been a champion so hated in the history of league of legends, i don't think even Kassadin at 95% ban ratio was hated as much as Yasuo.

Im not going to go into balance, as that is like discussing religion or politics at a dinner party.

So lets look at some of the most common "complaints"

He gets two items and becomes and doesn't matter how behind he was be can kill you

You mean like most late game scaling ADC's? that can die alot but get 2-3 items then there scaling takes off? But Yasuo does that then from melee range, he is literally a melee range ADC, he is a melee caitlyn.

Has a good Early Game, Bad Mid Game, Great Late Game, tell me they don't pretty much scale the exact same time and item wise.

He feeds on my team carried on the enemies

This is memory bias and literally goes for any champion in the game pretty much.

He is annoying to play against

Name a champion that isn't? honestly unless a champion is literally in the gutter they have something or multiple things about them that are annoying.

His players are toxic

Again memory bias, but honestly 99% of the time the people that circle jerk over him are the toxic ones while the players often don't speak at all.

Double Crit Passive

Okay so first let me address this, you remove double crit and give give him some buffs to compensate, guess what happens? item 3153 item 3078 TANK, so if you want that im more than happy as i would honestly prefer it build wise.

Windwall Is OP And Beat Peoples Ult's

And so is Fiora W, Tham W, Fizz E, Vlad W, Braum W, (you get the point) Alot of champions have ultimate beating abilities its not something new.

His Damage Is To High

I hate this one with a passion:

His Q damage is awful or and gets worse than an AA His E does at most, 200 damage (this is full build) every 6 seconds. His R does max 400 (+ 150% bonus AD)

If you actually look i think he has some of the lost damage abilities of all champions in league, all his damage is AA based.

Guys what other role is like that? ADC, again he is a melee ADC.

Honestly look at any of the above and try prove me wrong on most of these points.

Name a champion that isn't? honestly unless a champion is literally in the gutter they have something or multiple things about them that are annoying.

Annoying is a scale, assuming Yasuo is the same level of annoying as someone like Vel'Koz or Karthus is a pretty big stretch.

A lot of why people hate Yasuo is that it feels like it's the Yasuo show when he's in the game. If the Yasuo player is good, they'll run away with the game on their own skill alone, while a lot of champions in the game can't do that. His kit also has a lot of "really?" parts too, such as his ult putting him out of tower range for no particular reason and Wind Wall blocking spells that were fired from the opposite direction he threw it up.

If you argue he's only a problem for low elo, you're arguing that he's a problem for 70-90% of the player base (depending on if you count Gold as low elo or not).

For me personally, Yasuo feels closer to an acceptable level of annoying when I'm playing Xerath. Yes, he's still annoying that way, but he's not really blocking my spells, and that makes him feel on-par with other divers/assassins. I think that's particularly telling, when a champion has to have an ability completely negated to feel fair to play against.

Do not compare his long lasting windwall that can block five ults + all other range attacks at once with a high amount of area covered and long lasting to FIORA, Fizz, Vlad, and Braum. He can attack during it. Others can't.
