Draven PBE Q Change
I did math for myself to look over, but I figured I'd list things out here to help out.
It's an early game buff, late game nerf unless you get around 340 bonus AD.
Draven Q Old / New
-
98.426 / 108.605 -
103.301 / 112.105 -
108.576 / 115.605 -
121.489 / 125.755 -
135.102 / 135.905 -
140.877 / 139.405
This math is done using only D Blade (+8 bonus AD) and 8.5 from Runes. The Q scaling favors old Q after this point, regardless of items possessed. However, am early longsword (first blood) results in greater damage by about 13 damage, scaling down and equalizing by about level 9.
Late game, using the most common Draven build of
at level 18:
Old Q: 700.003
New Q: 692.455
Not a terrible loss of AD, but it's something.
Using highest win rate Draven build, replacing
for
:
Old Q: 579.753
New Q: 559.205
Overall, the Q changes emphasizes Draven's lane bully status and further pushes him towards status as an early game snowballer and weakens his late game by a bit. However, having a lower mana cost on W means he can reposition more and use more AS and MS steroids, which could be very significant late game and help with juggling a lot of axes.
Hope this helps some.
Edit: here's infernal drake math factored in:
With infernal at 8/16/24% additional: 408.65/438.92/469.19 AD Old Q: 756.0025/812.002/868.0015 New Q: 754.508/816.562/878.616
