Thoughts on Dynamic Q From a Pure Solo Que Player
I really really really really don't mind it. To be honest, I love being guaranteed one of my two best roles.

Choosing your role (and/or champion) and solo queue are not mutually exclusive.
Dynamic queue is what allows multiple players to get together and queue for ranked games as a group.
It is not related to the ability to choose one of two roles to play. That is separate and could just as easily be applied to solo queue.
The issue is not (and has never been) the ability to select one of two roles to play (though whether that in itself is an issue is another matter). The issue is that solo players rarely enjoy playing with or against pre-made groups.
Dynamic queue =//= new champion select
I love being guaranteed one of my two best roles. -This has nothing to do with solo que at all. Almost all of the people that want solo que like the champion select format where you pick 2 roles and have 3 people with 1 ban we just dont like how dynamic que ruins competitive integrity especially at high elo.
As a solo queue player I like the new champ select but would rather want old solo queue with it
Here's the thing.
New champion select isn't even actually good for the game.
Don't get me wrong, its really convenient and nice assurance, but in the end, its not good for the game either.
Nobody will ever branch outside of their two roles. I will never get accustomed to ADC or support because I'm already guaranteed the roles I will always want more.
This creates a lot of issues, especially when you consider how league, and roles in general, developed.
Just like Dynamic Queue, Role Select extends queue times an absurd amount due to the low amount of bot lane preferences, especially support. High MMR players are being forced to queue as 'fill' and just ask for the role they want when in champion select. That isn't a Dynamic Queue issue. That's a Role Select issue.
