How strong is Azir right now?
How strong is he right now? Is he pretty good because I want to buy him and play him in mid but I don't know if hes strong or not, I might buy Syndra or Vel'koz.

Azir is shit-tier right now. his damage and sustain is really low compared to meta mids. He is fun, but that's where the good things end.
In SoloQ it's really up to how good you are with him and how well you understand his matchups against common foes such as Ahri and Fizz.
You could be very good with him, but you just have to put the practice in on him and study what builds are effective right now.
Don't listen to people who tell you he's bad.
Azir is amazing in the right hands. He does require practice, game knowledge, good mechanics, etc. But if you put the effort in he can outperform a great deal of mid laners, whilst doing the job of other roles on top of it.
Ask the folks over at Azirmains on reddit what they think, if you're really interested.

Not worth your time... he's in the gutter until they find a solution for him.. Which doesnt seem to be soon.
