i started playing qiyana the first day she came out, and even tho i won 2 out of 3 games i played yet i see that she is useless on max lvl q with 4 ad items you deal 300 hp from your q laning faze is just terrible for her she loses every trade her combo does less dmg than most champions 1 spell i feel like she is only good as a tank because all she does that is good is stunning from q and r

and you can say that i am bad with her but i feel like i learned all her good combos in the first and second game, and in the last game i knew everything i was doing, so i guess i can say something about this champ i have played league 5 years so i know what is useless and what is good

Her Q doesn't do a ton of damage on its own, but you can cast it twice and augment it with either a 60% damage bonus, a root, or invisibility + movement speed. Her passive adds a lot of damage too, and her W makes it rewarding to weave auto attacks. If you just look at the Q in a vacuum, yeah, it sucks, but you can cast it twice in quick succession.

When you want to deal sustained damage, only cast your Q when you have your W up to reset it. This maximizes the uptime of your W passive, so when you weave autos between your abilities (which you should always be doing), you get a good chunk of bonus damage.

When you want to deal burst damage, land your Q with an element that isn't earth (ideally water), W to snag the wall and reset your Q, then finish them off with an E-aa-Q. This resets your passive to deal as much damage as possible.

Qiyana is all about combos. She might feel like she has less damage, but she has much more mobility and utility than other assassins. She'll take time to learn, don't judge her harshly on the second day.

She's not useless at all. I play her top lane all the time. The magic is in her auto attacks, maxing W for on-hit dmg and building trinity (with conqueror) u can outtrade most opponents with AA's and by resetting Q for extra dmg (also resetting ur passive if u change element). I personally think that building burst sucks and leaves u squishy.
