Varus Lovers UNITE! (Varus update in need)

Alright guys/gals, and all Varus lovers. Varus needs an Update, I love playin Varus, But with the new ADC's and some old ones in general Cough Ashe. Varus is very low skilled and ranked.

Edit:( New Passive: [Kuroi86] "Living Vengeance: On basic attack, Varus gains 4% AS stacking up to five times for 20% AS for 3 seconds. On a minion or monster kill, Varus gains 30% attack speed for 3 seconds. On a champion kill or assist, Varus gains 40% attack speed for 6 seconds. These bonuses do not stack with themselves.")

First off, Varus Q... is fine :P Second, Varus W.. is FIne :P (Edit: [SmokingPuffin] "Along with Varus's W Passive, he should have an active as well")

Third, Varus E..... Is Fine ( To address people who think his E is too weak.. His mechanics are to Pop his W (Blight), that's what E is supposed to be used for.. not mainly for poke.. also slows and applies Greaves wounds but idc about those)

Main Focus: Varus Needs more basic atk range!

My main reason for this is the fact that Varus has no Escape!

He does, However when you get in melee range and cast your ult.. it lasts 2 seconds for 1 of those u can get about 2 spots away.. then once they are free 90% of the time, the other person has a mechanic to get back onto you. Caitlyn has a Jumpback Not... Kalista is.... kalista, Twitch can go invis, Ashe Ult > Varus ult mainly cuz Varus snares in which they can still atk u, while Ashe's ult will stun in which she will rek them before they come out.

I feel the best way to get Varus back upo in the ranks is to give him atleast 50 more basic atk range to make up for the lack of escape..

Just look at tristana... Then look back at Varus...

IDK if somone else has made anything like this already, but Varus is falling down in the ranks, and he needs a good bump back up.. If you care for Varus, Back me up.. if you don't... still back me up xD

For those of you who will say " Well [Insert Champion] does not have good escape because blah blah blah", Any other champs has a better escape then Varus if used right, No matter how Varus is used, he can't escape if not for the right ult timing. (Which is just a waste)

I don't know that increased attack range is really the solution with Varus. He definitely needs something though.

Basically, I think he's a casualty of mobility creep. Varus has to land line skillshots for his kit to do anything, and that's way harder now against Lucian than it used to be against Miss Fortune.

Personally, my pet idea on this topic is to make Blight his passive and then give him some new active on W.

Varus has one of the most sick bully skillshot in this game. He's almost like AD nidalee with piercing spear. You just have to play him bit differently than other ADCs. Just make sure enemy ADCs get scared of getting hit by 1 of those arrows. If you do so, they'll be too afraid to leave their turret.

You mention kalista. She was added 1-2 weeks ago? And on top of that she's child of wicked creations of CertainlyT, bound to be nerfed 101 times before being balanced. You mention Tristana. Noone played her in s1-2~. Hell, noone knew she existed back then. Just in s4 ppl suddenly noticed "how OP she is" to the point of Riot making her Q bit less usefull.

The only thing that doesn't really match in varus kit is his rather short range ultimate and unreliable passive. Maybe give it ~25% more range?

I will leave this here, not sure I can comit to his at range since he has an E and R. The E cast range will be longer and it will be abusale along with his Q.

Varus counters, Caitlyn /Corki /Vayne /Kalista /Twitch /KogMaw /Ezreal /Quinn (mostly considered he can land skillshots). Lucian screws him up hard, Ashe too and graves along with MF. They're just too tanky and have too much burst.

The only thing I'd MAYBE change is his passive. His passive is really awesome when you go 1-1 and you're alive and they think they can kill you but you have a free Recurve bow.

His AA range is one of the highest of any adc only lagging behind Cait and Ashe so that definitely does not need to be changed.

You can completely fucking poke and destroy some one porting to town who is extrememly far behind turret. Shut up. He is just fine you power hungery idiot. Varus has a huge poke for a reason. To balance his low range with a very good scaling EVERMELY LONG RANGE poke. All you have to do is use all your pokes on the enemy support and you will eventually win lane without actually engaging the adc.

You are just a power hungery moron that wont think about the shit u are given. You dont even have to worry about the q hitting the champion first. IT passes through multiple enemys

IMO his passive could use an update and make him more interactive with the rest of his kit, it's pretty lackluster honestly.

He also has outdated cooldowns (His E has a 18 CD rank 1 and so does his Q) basically you get punished heavily for missing a spell and you can't even disengage as Varus from a bad fight, which is not necessarily a bad thing, it's a weakness but now do his strengths make it worth? not really.

575 range means jack shit against everyone who can dive you, you can rarely ever keep them at 575 range exact. It's not possible, now i don't think more range will do wonders, it will help but not sure.

I love playing champs that require skillshots so naturally varus is a favourite. I feel like he needs a buff to his mana since his role is to be played like a ranged sniper because of his Q and, for the most part, he can do absolutely nothing after he runs out of mana. I guess that also ties in with your point on his auto attacks.
