About spells being off from their sprite

In very simple terms:

Why is Riot cool with the accuracy of your spell being dependent on where you are on the map?

Apparently the issue is variations in landscape height.

So the game follows 3 axis. X, Y, Z.

Let's pretend the ground is X and Z. Why is their any variation on the Y axis other than walls? The spells get skewed and become inaccurate.

Then again this is lux down mid and still way off. It tends to be further up than wherever you aim: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_DacymOz0E&feature=youtu.be

It's not fun when I'm in a fast-paced battle and have to compensate for spells being way off from their sprite. I shouldn't have to do that. It's challenging i guess but definitely on the silly-side of things. Imagine playing hockey and the puck is not actually where it's pictured but to the Left or Right depending on where you are on the rink. Very frustrating and not really testing skill as much as just remembering the amount to adjust.

Sure it's a mental game but it's mostly visual and when the visuals aren't accurate... Amumu

Down-vote me all day, I could care less if I get 1 or 1k. I'm genuinely curious about this. I'm surprised this doesn't bother anyone else considering how many close-calls there can be in a single game.
