team ranked games/ rules need updated

so...how come in a ranked game you cant queue with someone one elo higher than you but yet in ranked teams we get a couple plat players on a team with the rest bronze? Im questioning how this is allowed, and how is it fair to ranked teams who are only bronze or silver to be forced against people who are plat? I dont see any logical reason for this or how it promotes the spirit of competition to be placed against someone 3 elos higher than our team

I am not sure to understand everything, but let's try an answer. I think that ranked team and ranked soloQ elos are independant, then if one player is challenger in soloQ, it doesnt mean they have such a high elo in ranked teams, then they would be matchmaked with "low" elo players... The same thing happens with normal games/ranked soloQ.
