I Feel AFK Players Should Be Replaced By Bots

AFK is nothing new in League, I have an AFK in my team regularly. I came up with an idea that could make AFK players impact a game less. When players are disconnected, an intermediate bot should take over for the remainder of their AFK period.

To prevent abuse of this mechanic, players will be punished slightly more severe, such as second offense within 7 days directly lead to 20-minute low-priority queue for 10 games. Players should have a good understanding of their internet connection and whether they have the time or not to finish the game before they even log in. To make it fair for random occasions, the first offense in 7 days will be dismissed.

I fully understand this could potentially cause players that disconnect for 1-2 minutes coming back to their game seeing their champion appearing in a team fight, but as stated earlier, players should have a good understanding of their internet connection before they start playing.

I personally feel this definitely can be a mechanic to be implemented, how do you think?

The problem is that bots are too stupid.

We'd need to actually have true AI for it to work, not this shitty program running off of a basic script.

EDIT: I'm not saying your idea is bad, per se. Just that it's not feasible currently.

Lmao the enemy team would find out and eat that bot up like BBQ chicken.

Oh god, no! Good god no! I play heroes of the storm, and I am HOPING that they replace bots with nothing. I swear, they have the bots be the lowest setting of difficulty.

The feeding these bots give is just ridiculous.
