"20% cdr is supposed to be for overcapping"

I actually use : Don't make enough gold past their core items to think about hitting 45% cdr in most matches to begin with, let alone more. There's that also uses it, I guess, but if he was gonna worry about stacking ap, he'd have been regularly building Athene's by now. He doesn't because he doesn't care about ap.

I could use : and would much rather land power spikes through other support items sooner than miss out on a full item's worth of gold because they're trying to cop a little bonus ap. You can also take the cdr conversion thing anyway and just top off your build with Morello's with the excess gold if you really think on it.

With this said, you could make the argument that "Well, now you can make up the difference in gold through the gold gained on STE + the value of the gold gained from that cdr conversion"...except someone using coin gets access to the same thing (I'm definitely peeping that rune/keystone for when I play Sona. That or the "More ap the longer it goes" rune). So, ultimately, you're just missing out on a ton of gold...for just 20 more converted ap and 35 regular ap. Meanwhile the other support is now an entire item, if not more, ahead of you. What did we accomplish?
