Taric rework Blinding GEM Light ult?

Hey guys

I was thinking when Taric ults.... after smashing his hammer to the ground like a bad ass, he should emanate a light so bright that if you are facing him while with 500 attack range, you get blinded. If your teammate is directly behind you, the won't get blinded as they are in your shadow.

What you guys think? This would really make him stand out from the other supports and allow him to also be a decent fighter.
