Gameplay tip for users with Oculus hardware

If your computer has anything Oculus attached to it, close Oculus and then stop the OVRService in the services tab of task manager before starting any matches.

Just had an obnoxious distraction during my last game because I bumped my dad's VR headset before the match and that triggered OVRService to launch the Oculus App. Normally this wouldn't be a problem because i'd just close it again, but it failed at booting properly and decided to just run in the background, resuming a game download from yesterday. I closed it with Task Manager, but of course OVRService just kept starting it back up again. Because why wouldn't a VR application behave like a virus and refuse to be closed? Eventually found the service, stopped it, then closed Oculus AGAIN and it stayed dead this time.

Also SteamVR likes to assign your VR hardware as the primary sound device. Check that your computer is outputting to the correct device before your match if you've played anything from SteamVR today.
