I may be a bit biased but I think I know how League of Legends will end

And it's slowly happening. Wait for it...

PATCHES.

Now I'm usually all excited when a patch is about to happen but this season goves a weird vibe. And im posting this thread to voice my concern the "improvements" riot consistently make gor the past few months.

  1. Changes to gameplay modes - New matchmaking mode, removal of modes

  2. Balance decisions (although to be fair, except a few champs, it's been pretty good)

  3. New masteries and other kinks added to the game (champions -so far not applicable to released champions but to "improved" champions, items, etc).

  4. Reworks. Yeah, reworks or should I say, "improving or changing a champions kit, finding out its overpowered, and then nerfing it to a point where the base damage of a champion wont save them. And then another rework comes...

  5. $$$ - So I'm not saying Riot is heavily focused on making $$$ even though they are a company. They're actually doing decent as of now. Here's hoping the economy as of now doesn't change Riot games too drastically.

TL:DR- @Riot- Watch out for these signs and dont overuse these levers. If you push too much, players will slowly leave once their favorite thing is gone without anything to fill the void.

As an aside from a tired "Scrubflash3", maybe make an offline game that focuses on your company's style designed for the casual gamer. Probably not good to bank it all on 1 basket. Judging from what I see, Team based gameplay (except for the solo player). Looking at Divinity: Original sin mixed with League style of character and battle system.
