So... I built dead man's plate on Irelia.

It worked very well. One auto with it charged up would deal about a third of a squishies health. I almost always go tri-force into a tanky item when I play Irelia. I can now build 2nd and deal more damage, move quickly, and still be tanky... As an Irelia main I'm happy.
