GUYS I NEED HELP WITH FPS ISSUES

Okay so I’m in a game as we fucking speak and I was doing fine with 30-40 FPS (which is what I usually run) and guess what all of a sudden I drop to around 15 FPS which is basically unplayable but then I recall and try to fix something and then I end up dropping ALL THE WAY TO 0 (zero) FRAMES PER SECOND AND NOW MY SCREEN IS PRACTICALLY FROZEN AND IM ABOUT TO GT PUNISHED BY THE LEAVERBUSTER SYSTEM AND I really don’t want that so if anyone has a really quick fix for this please help me I was carrying the heck out of my team too but now I’m the most useless please help me!! Also idk if this is relevant or not but my sound completely turned off around 10 minutes before my FPS issue started, so maybe that had something to do with it
