Sterak's Gage and Trinity Force combo seems to be pretty strong in my opinion

Sterak's Gage increases your base AD by 25% of its initial value, doubled when the Passive kicks in, which means +50% Base AD.

Trinity Force's damage scales with your Base AD, which is increased by Sterak's Gage, as it increases BASE AD (unlike Bonus AD).

Basically, if someone has 120 Base AD normally, he'll deal:

240 bonus physical damage on Trinity Force without Sterak's Gage 120 x 1.25 = 150 Base AD = 300 bonus physical damage on Trinity Force with Sterak's Gage

120 x 1.5 = 180 Base AD = 360 bonus physical damage on Trinity Force with Sterak's Gage when the passive is up.

A 60-120 bonus physical damage increase on Trinity Force damage proc is actually insane for a Bruiser and it also gives you 700 Health with Sterak + Triforce.

Maybe it could even work with Trinity Force ADCs like Ezreal or Corki

I believe it's intended.

Maybe it could be a decent sixth defensive item on trinity force carries, but GA might serve them better in terms of survival (sterak benefits bruisers a little more).

It's definitely strong, but only on bruisers who use a lot of spellweaving (not Garen) and don't use their bonus AD ratios (not Jarvan). So a pretty niche group. Basically Mordekaiser.
