Can We Please Have Position Preference Added to PVP Normal?

I mainly like to support, but I never play PVP because people have 'bottom' or 'support' on rapid fire on their keyboards. Do I really need to race to try something out? I can't even get better at a position with real players, because the slot gets gobbled up. I can play other spots, but it doesn't help something I'm trying to get better at.

As soon as I enter a game I no longer want to play, because I'm forced into a position I don't want. Is there any way we can have a preference filter going into games, so we can have a little bit of a chance for a role we'd prefer to get better at?

I'm sure there are enough players out there to fill the other roles. It makes PVP so unappealing for myself.
