PLAYING BOTS IN NORMALS?!

The past three games I've played it's said I've been playing bots but I know I've been choosing normal PVP. Eveyone on my team say they picked normals and after the game ends (at least for the third time) the other team said they were playing bots but it was actaull the team. I'm so confused, does anyone else have this problem?
