Taric rework?

this is the 1 rework that needed to happen before some of the ones they had done. taric really doesnt fit anywhere. a mixture of a engage and disengage supp is really not going to work.

Hopefully, according to Riot, before the Mage Class Update coming this Summer.

Taric's almost certainly going to be the next full relaunch released. Exact timing's not completely certain yet, odds are good he'll be after the next new champion (after Jhin), but before the new champion after that.

Thats atleast what Meddler said. I would expect him to be February/March. He's almost complete, so he shouldn't take too long to hit PBE. Just keep an eye out the next few weeks, he will probably be a suprise (without much teasers and stuff) like Poppy was. So the SkinSpotlights Channel and the League Twitter account should probably reveal him (atleast Poppy got revealed that way).

I like Taric exactly because of his mixed abilities as a support, and I think his kit allows for it more than you think. He can peel or engage with E, and his R can be used as an ally buff in addition to a buff for himself, while of course the heal keeps him and his buddy alive. What people always underestimate is his ability to get in close and thrash them with his spammable abilities thanks to the passive, and his R and W can kill or at least severely damage ADCs and junglers surprisingly fast. I've had a lot of success with him even when building sheer defenses, and most of the time the opponents don't typically know how to deal with him unless there's a heavy magic pokey support like Lulu or Annie.
