IP Prices Overall Balance and Gameplay

So I'll be Brief, as the game progress in age and years, we have way more champion then we did long time ago, so some people still are needing to buy Champion , or Quit for awhile, or just made a new account cause they didn't like how they got their rank, then you have the chill and relax player, who hop on and play with friend for abit then logoff for Real Life stuff. But the thing also is then you have the super hard core gamers, and even feel abit unfair when new people (let say just started to play barely for a year and with lack of meta knewledge they be buyin' the cheap champion at 1st, or saving nearly til Level 1-20 for just 1 IP champion being 6300, As year we had an champion price change for some old "6300" to 4800, and "4800" to 3150.

Now you might be asking me, What this has to do with Gameplay & Balance , as new player come to the game they are limited to champion that are cheap IP, or spending real money, and as I made the state at 1st you have new player, and they might just and might not want to sink much money in the game.

As it stand we have the follow "IP" Limited Champions (Not Including Free champion from Facebook,Twitter and Youtube).

12 (450 IP champion) = 5400 IP

21 (1350 IP champion) = 28350 IP

25 (3150 IP Champion) = 78750 IP

36 (4800 IP champion) = 172800 IP

32 (6300 IP champion) = 201600 IP

7800 champion are there only for 1 week, but then drop to the price as above.

  • Note this is just IP being as of right now (without the 7800 price/future champion) 486900 IP , which itself may not seem alot, but it really is to people who barely play for year. But this is where it get also tricky, Runes - This ia an key with your mastery to build stuff properly for "meta" or any champion to give them that extra crit so , of Early Game spell vamp, lifesteal.

and YOU CAN'T BUY THESE you will have to play to get the runes unlock, and in most cases someone new and don't get advice to "just save til tier 3 unlock" is a big deal in build as well, not just champion to fit the Meta. to give you an " on average quick run down as "best" i can.

Quin. Runes Tier 3

3 (515 IP x 3) = 4635 IP

18 (1025 IP x 3) = 55350

12 (2050 IP x 3) = 73800

and this just the Quin. Runes alone being about 133785 IP

The Point i'm trying say is, Champion Build aren't just their stat alone to be OP, but Runes as well which affect the "Balance" of a game. for example someone who let say invested 500k IP alone in the runes, would have all the rune, and different Build to counter in Rank, Pro and just in normal games. unlike someone who might done only 80k IP. which would mean they Think they be in let say Mid lane, the person who invest more IP would have no problem being told to go to X Role, or counter pick to fight early game so in late game they just didn't feed, unlike the other person who might be set up to "Mid Lane" is now stuck as ADC runes, and beg and plea with other - this what happen in most people who are new to game and rank for the 1st time. Lack of Runes, Champion to "pick" and so forth.

Now Before you say "Well they can just but champion with real money" if they are casual they be spending less time in Games to earn IP, so it would STILL affect them as much.not to mention while price may see nice, if the person just playin' with friend they won't want to waste tons of money on champion they might never use cause odd are they just be in Normal and buy skin to champion they Do like playing , cause they aren't playing them 24/7.

and to give a quick " run" down on "RP" (not including Sale or Bundles just Raw Prices/Free champion from Facebook,Twitter and Youtube)

12 (260 RP champion) = 3120 RP

21 (585 RP champion) = 12285 RP

25 (790 RP Champion) = 19750 RP

36 (880 RP champion) = 31680 RP

32 (975 RP champion) = 31200 RP

Or being Cheap-ish buyin' 5 champion Mysterious Champion for 490 RP after you have all 260 RP champion 1st, and Yes you will want those 1st or u can get a 260 RP champion for the price of 490 instead)

12 (260 RP champion) = 3120 RP

114 ( 490 -5 times a day) = 55860+ RP Apxly "In Order to unlock a Mystery Item your available items pool need to be 10"

  • With this in Mind I think we need "revamp" the Prices for some the champion , and Runes , or start making "IP Combo" Deal to help increase the Meta/ player in Rank and ect, people like me who been playing for years and Year don't think much about this, til someone we introduce or meet that recently hit level 30 and say "what should I use my IP on" and the only time we had the option to Buy an Rune was when Demon blade Tryndamere for RP (most might not even know this was once a thing for awhile).

Do you Agree there should be Bundles made for Runes? I personally know they can do this, as they do have a "Rune Bundle" in the PBE.

Not only they need rework Prices on champion, but also Runes , if a Riot Staff read this don't be shy and ask question , as I can be glad to give more info upon this. As Runes are hugely apart of "balance" in a game like We all expect Tryn to have Crit runes, and AD runes, and Attack speed, , Mid Lane with Magic/armor Pen, Top with "tanky" runes (health regen,armor MR and ect).

*Reason I add Champion IP Prices to give Ideal how much IP people would invest in champion and runes can affect play style / How people approach New role/ champions.

At first I thought the same. Champions are expensive etc. I wanted to buy then all. Pretty soon I discovered that to have fun I wanted to be able to win games. Buying a few champs and focusing on them is quite cheap. For simply having fun you have the weekly rotation.

Also you pretty much only need one rune page. Having more helps but the effect is very small.
