Hey, simple question here. Is Gankplank worth the buy? I have played against him many times, and I can't say I've found myself having a lot of issues dealing with him, but maybe that's just the people who were playing him. Can he snowball hard? Is there a time in games where he can become a monster, and is he viable atm? I've been looking at buying him and just wanted opinions on him before I do.
He's trash tier.
But still fun. Absurd little ball of stats he is.
gp scales hard, he is not exactly a snowball champ, but he is like a melee ad carry and scales like they, his main problem it's that tankplank is kind of useless and critplank is very risky
Buy him, nobody knows to play against him due to the fact that he is not in the current meta
Since he costs 3.150 Ip I'd say he is. After seeing the burst damage of a critting Q you'll feel repaid by the lolz. Can he snowball hard? I think he doesn't. He can snowball, but his presence is not as felt as that of other beastly champions. In particular, he suffers from armor in lane and grouping afterwards. He can be easily dealt with when the squishies have enough peeling (since his Q has only 625 range and thus he needs to get close).
I don't know if he's ranked material (I know of players who use him in diamond and above), but he's surely fun and rewarding. Easy mechanics, but needs knowledge of his strengths to be used well. His rework will come up this year, though, so it might be neat to try him before he changes.
I enjoy playing him but he doesn't fit into the meta very well. scales well late as long as you don't get shut down.
