@Riot How to fix the meta.

Heres what we need to look at after runes reforged...

TLDR at last paragraph

Important thing to note: These are short term changes. So i wont talk about reworks for champions that people currently think need them. Or a Crit rehaul that people are talking about. Simply CURRENT QUICK fixes for issues. This is because RR is coming out so we cant expect too big of changes too soon. And IF Mage items are the next Midseason Riot has kinda stated recently (Which they kind of need) A Crit change wont be AT LEAST till next season.

Items: After their buff, and the increase in gold gen on ADCs recently Zeal items are much more terrifying than before. Maybe increase the g on Zeal by 100 total, and the gold on the items by 200 or something again. The game is a decent bit different than when they were first buffed.

: WITH the recent PBE change. It is still an upgrade to pre-initial-buff ardent. But MUCH MUCH MUCH more managable. And i do think Ardent rush meta is killed but it is still a decent item for certain champions To those who havent seen it: Unique Passive attack speed lowered from [20% - 35%] to [10% - 30%] additional damage lowered from [20 - 35] to [5 - 20]

Towers: This is why i said that we need to watch closely. Because Turrets AFTER PREFORMENTIONED ADC NERFS it is POSSIBLE that turrets will be in a slightly better spot. But these changes need to happen before turret changes. (Although I miss lasers so badly)

Champions: ADC: This is a tossup: IF Zeal gets overall nerfed, we might see a resurgence in Lucian/Ez/Lethality ADCs. Since will just naturally be weaker since their strength is SO closely tied to Crit.

Mid: Lethality is getting changed and RR is coming out, and depending on what those favor Mages or Assassins are a pretty big tossup in strength. Wait and see.

Jungle/Support: shouldnt be built on Tank junglers ill let pass. But knights vow needs a support buff, this mixed with a weaker ardent will get more diversity in bot by A LOT. Now we just need rework for PINNACLE supportability.

Top: This lane will naturally change from tanks to bruisers/fighters or whathave you depending on other lanes. Tank meta? Maokai. Not tank meta? Fiora/Trundle/Camille/etc. Speaking of which i think Maokai COULD see to a nerf and have it be legitimate.

TLDR: I didnt talk about reworks or game changes since these are short term fixes. items got recently buffed but most of the rest of the game got changed for ADCs at the same time, so a nerf would be okay. meta might finally be dead after the PBE change. Towers: MIGHT be okay if Ardent crit meta is dead. Wait and see after changes to determine if they still need a buff (I miss lazers.) ADC: With the Zeal item nerfs, plus nerf of Ardent a large ADC meta change is in order. We dont know to who yet however. Mid: Runes reforged could greatly change the meta in mid. And whether it favors Assassins or Mages we have yet to see. Wait on this for a bit. Jungle/Support: needs to leave the jungle, This will bring tank supports back. Top: With the lessen of crit-adc/enchanter meta. Top lane meta might shift away from Maokai, But we dont know to what yet. And nonetheless Maokai MIGHT be in for a nerf. Hes just a little bit too tanky.
