For once in a long time, I'm kind of excited for the next champ

12/11 PBE Update: New Champion Sett, Twelve New Skins & Much More

AND THAT'S ALL BECAUSE HE HAS A FAIRLY SIMPLE KIT

Let's do a poor man's review over him:

Passive: You punch people twice with your autos. First one does normal damage, second deals extra (due to his brass knuckles). Additionally, he gains a Chinese knockoff version of Garen's passive, gaining .25 extra health regen for every 5% of missing health (not % regen based on your max health)

Q: Gain a short burst of movement speed when moving towards enemy champs and deal % health damage each hit.

W: Passive - gain a resource bar similar to Mord but based on how much damage you take only. Active - wind up and strike in a massive area and expend all grit you have to deal more damage. True damage to enemies in center.

E: Similar to Diana's current ult, Zac's Q. grab enemies at your sides and bring them together to you for damage and slow. If you grab from both sides, stun them.

Ult: Charge at an enemy like Vi but instead carry them across a distance and slam them down dealing more damage to them and enemies champs nearby based on their bonus health (GO FOR TANKS!!!!)

Overall from a quick overview, he just feels simple. Passive is fairly simple to understand, Q is basically garen's to an extent, E is simple, and ult looks fun without (hopefully) being broken. He doesn't have any dashes, his kit doesn't have 5 different amounts of CC in it and he isn't complex to play as Aphelios. Only issue I may have is with his W, adding in another passive mechanic and having true damage in his kit but I'll have to see how he plays out with that.

Besides that, he's actually a champ I'm really looking forward to playing.

i dont really like his design tbh, the "furry with daddy issues" kinda annoys me

every time people describe sett's W, I don't see anyone mention the shield he gets from it. W grants you a shield that decays over 2 seconds equal to the amount of grit you've built up. Also I'd compare his E more to thresh's flay, but towards you instead of all in one direction.

But yeah, overall his kit is pretty simple. I like it a lot from what I've used in practice tool

Honestly, same here. He's the first new champion that I've been interested to play since Aurelion Sol. It's almost like playing as Goku. Now I can walk around screaming "WHAT IS HIS POWER LEVEL?!!!!!!!!" every time I get a kill.

Hard to say without playing the champ yet but it looks like the design team did a good job on this champ. Just hope he isn't way overtuned on release like Senna was.

Well I mean the Roadmap said he would be fairly simple, they even compared him with Darius being the last Juggernaut that isn't overly complex.

The thing I most dislike about this champion is the lack of inspiration. His passive is the only unique thing on his kit (unique, not inspired) and his character (Draven has twice the character he has) does not help his design either. Not excited about him and I think he will be left to rot in Aatrox level winrates after his release

I wish they'd focus on the champs we already have than keep throwing crap into the pool
