Since everyone else is doing it... Aatrox Suggestions

Disclaimer: I'm not personally having trouble with new Aatrox other than the natural growing pains of adapting to the new kit.

If Riot must, in the future, add some kind of QoL changes maybe some of the following would work:

  1. The passive **While active, Aatrox deals bonus damage to minions and neutral monsters. **Aatrox deals bonus damage on his next attack against an enemy champion and reduces heals and shields on the target.

  2. Allow (slow) movement on Q1.

  3. Ult. World Ender _(unchanged) Once final bar is reached, Aatrox gains access to Armageddon Dive. (R second cast) _ Armageddon Dive Dives at the target location, dealing massive damage in an area upon landing and heals for each enemy struck. If only one enemy champion is struck, they take bonus damage. Ends World Ender (meaning the ult is finished after this active and he loses his wings).

The reason for #3 is to give Aatrox wiggle room rather than just allowing enemies to play around him at all times. This means he either becomes a priority or a priority to get away from. It also incentivizes his own death/revive (and) or gives him a high cooldown escape tool (if completely necessary). The only issue is its just a flat-out buff to his kit. Not sure he's even remotely in need of such help.

now that that's out of the way.

If you're mad that he's not like old Aatrox, that doesn't mean his kit is bad. It means you just don't like it. Maybe its "clunky" because you're so used to old Aatrox' more straightforward way of playing.

Hes also not going to paly like Riven. All the haters, before he even hit live, in their maelstrom of hyperbole, made the claim he was just another Riven.

Just because he may have some Riven qualities, doesnt mean he's going to play like Riven or was ever meant to be played just like her.

Try playing him with an open (clear) mind.
