Why is it so easy to backdoor?
Seriously, I've lost so many games now to backdoor comps it's unreal. You don't even need a team built around backdooring, all you need is to have a yi or a ww or an udyr or a trundle or anyone who has insane attack speed at 30 minutes and they can get a tower in under 10 seconds easily. I understand one person should have teleport and I understand that you technically have a 4v5 advantage, but not really. It takes next to no time for a farmed bd champion to destroy a tower or two and either b or just keep going if you actually do manage to engage. Even in a 4v5, there's more than likely no chance you're going to both destroy all 4 of the enemy champs and do it in under 20 seconds, which is MORE than enough time for any decent backdoor champ to take an inhib tower and inhib.
Everyone seems to think that this 4v5 advantage you have just makes it so easy to control backdoor comps but it doesn't, because all the enemy team has to do is continuously kite for the small bit of time it takes the backdoorer to get a tower or two and get out, and then they can just fully disengage. Killing one or two heroes on the enemy team at the expense of 1-2 towers and/or an inhib isn't even almost worth it, and it's just waaay too easy to pull this off. There is next to no risk having a great backdoorer on your team because there's almost no chance of their team getting wiped or them losing an equivalent amount of towers with their whole team defending. Towers need some sort of backdoor protection so that they can't get destroyed from full by a yi in 6 seconds at 40 minutes. I think DotA has a decent system that could work pretty well in League, that being that champions don't hurt towers unless they have friendly creeps nearby. This prevents a backdoorer from just being fast enough to just melt all your towers before he even gets hurt.
I'm not saying backdooring should be removed from the game, but when I see it used successfully in the majority of games I play that are roughly even, I feel like something needs to change. There needs to be more risk involved in backdooring, or something needs to change so that it's harder to do and takes a little bit longer.
