Can we please just enable chat mute by default at the start of a game?

Literally just now the trundle kept harrassing me over my first death and NEVER came top to begin with (even when the chance was open) unless I died, then he'd go for the clean up, can't we just have the chat silenced by default as an option in the settings? (if there is a setting for it, I don't see it)
