Champion identification in Dynamic Queue

Sometimes if two characters look alike visually, or It's been a while since i've played league (portraits change) Someone will choose a champion and I think that looks like xxxx is it them? or a new champion? or I am not sure if it is one of two champions. In the old queue I would just over over the champion and the client would display the champion name. But now nothing happens when I hover over my teammate's or enemy champions.

I've been told the client still pop's up their name if i hover "between their name and the summoner spells" but I can't seem to get it to work. Is there a way to have the game display player's champion names in dynamic queue? if so how?
