3 reasons why LeBlanc needs to be one of the major projects included in the Assassin updates.

1. She has many of the same problems as Azir(who is also getting a rework sometime). Both are almost always considered to be trash or overpowered. They both are frustrating to play against. Both are seen in Competitive play in nearly every game or get ignored completely. Riot has even grouped them together saying that if they are above a 50% winrate in solo queue they are probably overpowered.

2. LeBlanc doesn't stand out from other assassins. Her Passive makes a clone, which is shared with Shaco, and grants her stealth, which is shared with Akali, Evelynn, Kha'Zix, Rengar, Shaco, and Talon. Her q marks and triggering it does bonus damage, which is shared with Akali, Katarina, and Nidalee (although Nidalee does have to go about it a bit differently than the others) LeBlanc has a ton of mobility from her W, with a dash and a second cast to blink her back to the spot she dashed from. This combined is shared with Zed's R. Her E is not shared with any other assassin (unless you count Karma as one for some reason). However, Ekko's W slows as well and can effect multiple people, as well as being able to stun them and granting him a shield if he enters the bubble. LeBlanc's ult mimics her most recently cast spell. This is unique to her. However, this does get old after a bit, seeing as how the entire point of Mimic is that Leblanc just reuses a spell, which is normally her Q anyways. That's it. Nothing flashy or exciting like Ekko or Zed have for their ultimate. Nothing that makes you go "wow, what a cool champion, im saving up IP for her" When shes not overpowered, shes easy to forget about(Not like shes the only assassin with this problem, almost all of them seem to be like this) and when shes OP, you literally are unable to forget her because shes bursting you down so hard that it ends up in your nightmares.

3. "Deceiver" could be played up so much better. Right now, her kit and her lore/character dont work together at all. Leblanc's W and Passive are the only abilities she has that would make you think deceiver/deception. The main reason have never gave up on playing Azir even with mechanics as bad as mine is because when i play him i feel like everything works together perfectly. Azir's soldiers give the feeling that he is still the ruler of Shurima even though it no longer exists, and he is able to command his soldiers as if he still has the power he lost, and to me, Azir feels like a near perfect example of lore and gameplay working together. With LeBlanc, her character in the lore as a deceiver as well as the leader of an underground syndicate does not match-up to the way she is played in-game where she is going to 1 shot you. She is far from the only character like this, but Leblanc feels like she could be so much cooler if her character in the lore and play style matched in any way. I'm not saying that playing against Leblanc should be a guessing game all lane where she cant kill you unless you guess wrong, but it is hard to say that she is the ultimate trickster or the go to champ to make you opponent look foolish when Shaco is doing her job better, despite being the "Demon Jester" while Leblanc is "The Deceiver". Her Q,E, and R all scream bursty far more than tricky, and that is a huge thematic problem for "The Deceiver" concept. IMO. Remember the Trickster's Glass item in Black Market Brawlers? That could be a cool thing for an ability, especially for a champion who is all about Deceiving. Luring an opponent into a false sense of security could be a really cool thing for LeBlanc. Maybe she gets a new ability that has a similar effect as Trickser's Glass or even maybe a switcharoo like thing where you and an ally switch appearances. Disguise as Nami and head bot while she goes mid and pretends to be you. All of a sudden you stop the act and assassinate bot lane, with the enemy bot laners and midlaner left clueless about it until you have already made your move if done right. You could disguise as your jungler, intentionally walk through an area that you know is warded like near dragon or baron pit. Get the whole enemy team running towards you in an attempt to stop what they thought was an attempt for an objective, but really you just led them into an ambush or pulled them away to give you team a chance to finally take down that tower the enemies had guarded so well all game. The ability to pretend to be somebody else is something that not only no assassin in the game has, but no champion or item has ever had this (besides Trickster's Glass of course) in the history of this game, and not only would it be fun to watch the pros play around with this ability, you could do it too and outsmart everybody. Now giving her Trickster's Glass as an ability wont solve all her problems but it would be an amazing way to separate her from the pack of assassins, where the thought process is "they are fed ff/stay away from them and focus them" or "they aren't fed, we dont have to pay any sort of attention to them now".

So those right there are my reasons as to why I think LeBlanc should be given one of the top spots in the Assassin Update. I dont work for Riot and i have practically 0 influence on their choices, but I feel like (as I have said like 30 times already) LeBlanc has so much more potential than what we got (much like pre-reworked Quinn) and its a shame that we dont have reaching that potential.
