The big problems of that early season

Hello everyone and best wishes for 2017! First of all, I would just like to discuss, not to start an argument.

I noticed, just like a lot of pro-players and streamers have highlighted, that the role of ADC has become very minor. Yes, the adc end-game will still deal a lot of damages, yes it is still ok to pick an ADC but when you play this role, it feels like you have much less carrying potential than you had in the past which is weird for an AD-carry. It is such a problem that a lot of compositions go without ADC! In teamfights, we used to think of the ADC as a top priority focus and the key to wining or losing it. In my opinion, this is a huge problem in the meta since it completely wrecks the whole ecosystem of LOL.

I was wondering what lead to this situation since not much have changed for ADC. Here are my explanations on why this role has become a bit weak and therefore how to fix it. I am not saying that I am right, I am just giving my opinion + arguments I have heard while watching pro-players streaming. I am glad to discuss and perhaps (we can dream) make riot change this.

According to me, different factors lead to this and not a small patch will solve the issue:

A/ The tankiness stats are too strong I have seen some bruisers and even some supports managing to 1v1 an ADC that was a bit fed without any damage items. This makes the ADC impossible to position in fights because literally almost anyone is a problem for him. The tankiness provided by the stuff is ridiculous. Some champions scale even harder with these. On the top of the list is "Maokai" for instance. After a few items, he will be impossible to destroy and will happily tank turrets forever while dealing very decent damages and so without any dmg items. The tankiness/dmg ratio is something that should be fixed in my opinion. A lot of players are picking Vayne at the moment because her true damage will crush tanks anyways which proves that what I am saying can't be completely wrong.

B/The assassins rework I am very happy to see the assassins being reworked and I think it was necessary, so thank your RIOT for that. However, some assassins have become ridiculously strong in one shoting target safely and without doing a good game. Katarina, Leblanc and Rengar are my concerns. These champions can easily burst you even if they have played poorly during the game making them an easy silverbullet for any soloQ free ELO. Just because they only need one or two kills to snowball like crazy (even with a 0/3 start!). They can burst you down without you being able to give any response to that. This leads also to diminishing the power of ADC. For the poor player of ADC, the danger comes from everywhere : the bruisers, the tanks, the midlaner, the assassin... It is extremely hard to manage to deal decent amount of damage during the fight. I said a lot of players are picking Vayne for her true damage. Well, a lot of players are also picking Ezreal for his bit of escape and his capacity to poke from afar.
