i've been traveling for the past few days so i was very confused as to why we have irelia bot lane. I just found out that adc's suck now and we can play whatever we want bot lane. as a support main this is kind of confusing. do i still play the champs before the changes? i thought the purpose of support was to guard marksmen because they are generally weaker. now that self sustaining champs can be played bot do i have to stay bot? what's the purpose of support now?
The purpose of support is the same like its always been. Press a couple buttons here and there, point and click this, point and click that. Not much for you to do. Support players shouldn't be acting like they have to learn something like everyone else has to because riot has a weird hard on for making that role as boring and straight forward as possible
basically the support meta is who has the better kill lane rn tbh. and crit adc's (except for a small handful) take hella long to scale now.
Elise support is going wonderfully. Now that she is ruined in the jg, feels nice to have a sure-thing role.
