Kalista has a win rate of 37.5% as of 11/21/2014.

This statistic is for her first day of release. The games taken included all games ranked Diamond V through Challenger, only. There were 472 games played that included Kalista. Out of the 472 games, Kalista was on the winning team for 177 and on the losing team 295 times.

( 177 / 472 ) = 37.5%

These included the games from the following regions:

North America Europe West Europe Nordic & East Brazil Turkey Russia Latin America North Latin America South Oceania

Keep in mind that players will learn to counter her and play her better over time!

Of course these statistics are limited, so make of them what you will. However, this is all we have at the moment.

Day 2 Update: ( 1158 / 3296 ) = 35.1% win rate Day 3 Update: ( 2232 / 6141 ) = 36.3% win rate Day 4 Update: ( 2565 / 6953 ) = 36.9% win rate Day 5 Update: ( 2922 / 7806) = 37.4% win rate

That's because Kalista's ult assumes you're going to use it with somebody you're in a Skype Call with (Or Raidcall if that's your thing)

Give it a few weeks before quoting her win rates and calling her crazy UP. This is not like the Cass rework where she is too weak to do anything. People need time to learn her mechanics and best playstyles, build paths, etc. Remember, Lee Sin was called extremely UP on release, and despite getting more nerfs than buffs, look at where he is now (top tier jungler).

Remember yasuo and lucian? Yeah.... crappy win rates then "OMG SOOOO OP>>>>!"

"Winrate means nothing"

Yes if it means about that champions especific mechanics. (So she is a ranged assassin with a built in gapcloser/escape that silences you.... what do you do after the silence is gone? Nothing because you are dead? Damn.) Rengar got reworked the same way.

No if that champions wrecking everyone. (Xin launch. Lucian after a few weeks, hidden FOTM high win rates or some one high win rates with determined champion...)

I played Kalista several times in both duo and solo Q.

Duo Q definitely makes it easier to know when both partners are ready for Kali's R.

In Solo Q, I have to be judicious as hell when thinking about when I ult. Typically, I reserve my Ult for 3 conditions

1.) When I need to pull my support out of harm's way (saved my soul bound Maokai from a 1 v 3 brawl with him having about 100 HP left)

2.) When my support and I are preparing to engage, but they're lagging behind. ( It helps bring them to me, so we can actually start the attack sooner.)

3.) When I see an opportunity that doesn't interrupt or overly impede my partner's skill rotation. (Maokai initiated a fight with his W (gap closer that snares), and I immediately hit my ult (by that time, he understood how it works, and Mao's main intention was to hold the enemy in place for me to get to them) to hold the enemy there longer, so I could finish entering the lane from river.

X_X Somehow, I have yet to have my partner's to call foul on me ulting at an in-opportune time. I probably just got lucky. Still get a lot of people dodging when I click on her immediately (not that I instantly lock in)
