"I'm really good give me X role" and why it's not the player it the players hes playing with
I join my first provisional game on this account. I say "Let me mid trying to win all 10 provisionals". After debating with them while they try to prove I'm not good... I end up getting my role. The enemies happen to hard counter my pick. We get into the game. My jungler happens to be the guy with the biggest mouth in the lobby. My hard counter starts bullying me back to turret. I watch his cs increase more and more as my jungler walks right past and could very easily gank.... but hes PURPOSELY ignoring my lane to try and force me to do bad. Eventually the enemy laner gets a dive kill under my turret.
At this point I say the TRUTH. "Jungler purposely ignoring an overextended lane allowing him to free farm and bully me to the max"
And this is where the OTHER players... NOT the jungler speak. They say.... "Wow noob blaming jungler". The jungler won't speak because he knows full well he is the reason this is happening.
But since other people are fanning the flames... the jungler can just not speak and be in the right. Now as apposed to having a fair 5v5... you are playing with one guaranteed carry on the enemy team IF that person counter picks the "good player" which in this case is me.
It just so happens in that particular game we had another lane do poorly against a hard carry champ so we had TWO huge bruisers to deal with and it forced the loss.
I am FULLY aware what the general consensus is.... and that blaming the jungler is a noobs way out. But I don't care for my thoughts being dictated by what the societal norms are. THIS is the TRUTH. If you fight it... you ARE wrong.
Obviously the cure for this is to not come off as egotistical and not upset the fragile egos of your teammates.... but holy crap do people really need to be coddled THAT badly? Can't we step away from the coddling and start dealing out TRUTH and force the change? PRIDE and not wanting to EVER ONCE be wrong contribute to an insane portion of losses.
