Matchmaking

I have never posted anything here, so if i put it in wrong section, please tell me where to post it.

First, I must say that selecting roles in ranked has been one of the best updates in lol. But machmaking is still kinda r%%%%%ed imo. If my friend is diamond and i am plat, we can not play togather. But i can get diamonds in my team and enemy team randomly? Whats the point of that?

Also, why do i get people that more then one divison higher then me? When i was plat IV, i got mached against diamond II. Why? Im not climbing in diamond, im climbing in plat! Is this something anyone else noticed and was kinda sad about it? Also, if there is a forum with suggestions, that riot reads, please link it so i can post it there as well :D
