riot, at the very least, you owe us the truth about solo queue

ever since dynamic queue has been released i've been waiting for solo queue to come back

i'm not even close to finished my placement matches, i'll do them at the end of the year, hit gold 5 0 lp, and never play dynamic queue again

but i love climbing the solo ladder

having started out in bronze and climbed a tier every season, that gives me a sense of accomplishment. i can see myself improving at the game.

could i hit platinum right now if i decided to play ranked? yes. i really believe i could.

but i don't want to play ranked anymore. i have no desire to climb a ladder that doesn't at all reflect your individual skill level. even if i do every single game solo, nobody takes dynamic queue ranking seriously. nobody can tell who got boosted / carried and who actually deserves their rank.

right now, it's about 50/50. boosters are profiting off dynamic queue like crazy and i know a ton of people who are being boosted, "legally", by playing with a team of smurfs (no i'm not going to rat them out, fix your shitty system)

why should i take ranked seriously anymore? why should i strive to improve at a game that i used to love, a game that i wanted to learn everything about so that i could climb the ranks, when i could have my high elo friends carry me and get the exact same result?

literally all we're asking for is a ranked ladder that MEANS SOMETHING

so give us the truth. is it coming or not?

if you just flat out told us no, the community would react MUCH better than stalling it out and having them eventually realize you completely lied to them.

quit wasting our time. if it's not coming, i'll dedicate myself to a new game.
